James Richards
Hey there,
My name is James Richards and I am a sophomore at CSU. I am majoring in both Music and Business; Business for the money and Music so I don’t go crazy with all the business! At A/PASS I will be a College Experience Coordinator and I will help new students at CSU.
Although I lived in Colorado for two years before coming to CSU, I will always consider Hawaii to be my home. I grew up there and found a love for the diverse array of cultures and ethnicities which surrounded me on a daily basis. It was there that I also found my love of music, specifically percussion and drums. I also found a love of sports including soccer, basketball, golf, karate, and many other activities.
On O’ahu I was considered “hapa haole” because I am half Caucasian and half Japanese.
Now I am a proud CSU Ram and, in addition to A/PASS, I am a member of the Colorado State Marching Band! I strongly encourage you to go to the games. Not to watch the football team of course, but to watch me rocking out on the snare drum during halftime shows!
Just a little advice: treasure your next four years at CSU because it will be a college experience that you will never forget!
That’s all I got. If you see me around, say hi! And last but not least:
GO RAMS!!!
