Deborah Yani Yeung

Hi! My name is Deborah and I will be an incoming freshman this year at Colorado State University majoring in Biomedical Sciences. I have the privilege to be working with the Asian Pacific American Student Services (if you didn’t know what A/PASS stood for) this year as the Special Projects Coordinator. Growing up was always a difficulty coming from an ethnic background. My mission this year is to spread diversity as well as making other APA students feel comfortable as possible. My father was born in Hong Kong and my mother is from South Korea. They both came to America to live a better life for themselves and their children. I was born and raised in Colorado Springs, CO and this is the first time I’ve moved away from home. I love to shop, go outdoors, and basically do fun stuff.
