Asian American Women: First Year Experience

Goal:

To deconstruct the multiple identities of Asian American women of today through films and short readings from women who have ethnic roots in Korea, Philippines, China, Vietnam, Japan, India, and other places in Asian. We will look at our past to make sense about how it has impacted our present, and discuss how we want it to shape our future, as we become the Asian American women of tomorrow.
 

Group Structure:

This group will meet every week on Monday from 4:30 - 5:30 p.m. We will discuss new topics each week that deal with Asian/ Pacific American issues. Education tasks will be assigned and are to be completed before each group session.
